Objectives:

-          design an up to date curriculum for the higher levels of secondary education.

-          design the implementation of that actualized curriculum .

Description:

Due to the changes

-          in the Arubean society,

-          in the institutions of further education in US and in the Netherlands,

-          in the first part of secondary education in Aruba,

a reform of the higher secondary education was inevitable in Aruba.

The APS was invited to support in the development of the design of the new curriculum and, once that was accomplished, to support the development of the planning of the implementation of that new curriculum.
