Description
MAG is the abbreviation for three Hungarian words that mean Preventing-Adapting-Caring. But if one reads it as a word, “mag” means “seed”. The intentions that drive this three years project are made very clear here. From 2003 till 2006 the project will involve principals, assistant-principals and teachers from 13 schools in the North of Hungary, and in the South of Transdanubia. The local education officers responsible for these schools will also be involved. Each year a teacher training and school consultation program will be conducted on site, with focus on adaptive education. Yearly a resource book on adaptive education will be published, based on Dutch concepts but with Hungarian examples. On national level a management training and consultation program will be provided for. The tri-level approach in the MAG project aims at linking interests of various stakeholders and continuous information flows from one level to the other. All programs, books, conferences and materials will be the product of processes of co-creation by Hungarian and Dutch experts.
Project management is in the hands of a team of two, one Dutch and one Hungarian person.
