Objectives:
- To secure permanent and interactive participation 
  of teachers, principals, parents and students in
  communication with eduation authoroties
- To promote dissemination and implementation of national education policies in a transparant and accountable way.

Description:
In cooperation with the International Renaissance Foundation (www.irf.kiev.ua) and the Charity Fund "Pershe Veresnya", the project will develop a model to equip teachers, principals, parents and students with skills and strategies to initiate and maintain a dialogue on school improvement that will include education authorities. The model will be tried in two regions (Odessa and Poltava) and in Kiev itself. In Kiev a national centre will be established that will coordinate and support the two pilots, and that will disseminate outcomes, results and products nationally. The project will include the construction of a webportal, an expert database, manuals, newsletters, brochures and policy papers.
The activities started in December 2006 and the project will terminate November 2009.
